PRIME MIN­IS­TER TRAV­ELS TO JA­MAICA

Prime Min­is­ter, Hon. Dr. Kenny D. An­thony is presently out of state, vis­it­ing Ja­maica for a se­ries of en­gage­ments.

Dr. An­thony will at­tend the Sum­mit to com­mem­o­rate the 10th an­niver­sary of the Petro-Caribe Agree­ment on Septem­ber 5th and 6th in Mon­tego Bay.

Sub­se­quent to that meet­ing, the Prime Min­is­ter will at­tend the of­fi­cial open­ing of the Si­mon Bo­li­var Cul­tural Cen­tre, which will co­in­cide with a cer­e­mony to com­mem­o­rate the 200th an­niver­sary of the “Carta De Ja­maica” in Kingston.

Ac­com­pa­ny­ing Dr. An­thony is His Ex­cel­lency Hip­polyte Eus­tace Vi­talis, non-res­i­dent Am­bas­sador for Petro-Caribe and ALBA.

Prime Min­is­ter An­thony left Saint Lu­cia on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 3, 2015 and is sched­uled to re­turn on Tues­day, Septem­ber 8, 2015.

Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Min­is­ter and Min­is­ter for In­fra­struc­ture, Port Ser­vices and Trans­port, will act as Prime Min­is­ter dur­ing Dr. An­thony’s ab­sence.
