PRIME MINISTER TRAVELS TO JAMAICA
Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony is presently out of state, visiting Jamaica for a series of engagements.
Dr. Anthony will attend the Summit to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Petro-Caribe Agreement on September 5th and 6th in Montego Bay.
Subsequent to that meeting, the Prime Minister will attend the official opening of the Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre, which will coincide with a ceremony to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the “Carta De Jamaica” in Kingston.
Accompanying Dr. Anthony is His Excellency Hippolyte Eustace Vitalis, non-resident Ambassador for Petro-Caribe and ALBA.
Prime Minister Anthony left Saint Lucia on Thursday, September 3, 2015 and is scheduled to return on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, will act as Prime Minister during Dr. Anthony’s absence.
