Two More Homi­cides This Week

Two homi­cides that oc­curred this week have brought the num­ber to twenty for the year. Po­lice are presently in­ves­ti­gat­ing the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the death of 18-yearold Bran­don Breedy of Hos­pi­tal Road, Castries. Breedy was re­port­edly gunned down while on his bed at a house in Hos­pi­tal Road, Castries on Mon­day, Septem­ber 7. Ac­cord­ing to the po­lice they re­ceived the re­port of the shoot­ing at about 11:05 p.m.

Upon ar­rival at the scene of the crime of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered the body of Breedy at his dwelling house with what ap­peared to be mul­ti­ple gun­shot wounds. He was trans­ported to the Vic­to­ria Hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead by a med­i­cal doc­tor.

Po­lice are also in­ves­ti­gat­ing the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the death of 36-year-old Ker­win Pierre-Louis of Chase Gar­dens, Castries.

Re­ports in­di­cate that on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 10, 2015 about 11:40 a.m. Pierre-Louis was walk­ing in the Chase Gar­dens area when he was ac­costed by three masked men.

The men dis­charged rounds of am­mu­ni­tion at Pierre-Louis. As a re­sult, he sus­tained gun­shot wounds to the body.

Pierre-Louis was trans­ported to the Vic­to­ria Hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead.
