Schools Reading Competition powered by Flow
The winner of the Courts National Schools Reading Competition receives one year of free internet service, compliments of Flow.
For the third year, Flow facilitated the live broadcast of the event via local channels.
The competition encourages children to read for pleasure and motivates them to improve their fluency, enunciation and pronunciation, and develop self-confidence.
Flow’s Sales, Marketing & Communications Manager, Shermalyn Sidonie-John, said, “This is a great opportunity for us to play our part in encouraging a love of books amongst children and assisting with the promotion of literacy within our schools. As a company, this is part of our corporate social responsibility, and it’s important to us as Saint Lucians to play our part in enhancing the education of our youths. Many of our colleagues are also parents, so we know how crucial it is to provide that kind of encouragement and support.”
