Po­lice Of­fi­cer Stabbed Dur­ing At­tempted Rob­bery

On Tues­day, Novem­ber 10, 2015 about 3:45 p.m. Po­lice Con­sta­ble 867, Michael Henry of Pavee, Cas­tries sus­tained a stab wound to the left shoul­der by two un­known men.

The as­sailants at­tempted to grab his gold chain at the in­ter­sec­tion of Co­ral and High Streets, Cas­tries.

Henry was trans­ported to the Vic­to­ria Hos­pi­tal where he was treated and dis­charged.

Ac­cord­ing to eye­wit­ness re­ports Henry was at­tacked by a gang of about six knife-wield­ing young men shortly af­ter he dis­em­barked from a bus com­ing from Pavee.

The 22-year-old ap­par­ently de­fended him­self from his at­tack­ers with a piece of wood.

Since then, three men have been ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the stab­bing of and at­tempted rob­bery of the of­fi­cer.
