Pawasol pour ti Ma­mai con­tin­ues to sup­port chil­dren of Saint Lucia and held its an­nual quiz night at Raz­mataz Restau­rant, Rod­ney Bay on Tues­day 1st De­cem­ber, 2015. It was an out­stand­ing suc­cess with not a spare seat in the house and raised EC$12,409.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion was es­tab­lished as a reg­is­tered char­ity in 2007 and has been as­sist­ing Saint Lu­cian chil­dren with med­i­cal and ed­u­ca­tional needs. Funds have been raised by a group of ded­i­cated ladies hold­ing flea mar­kets, sell­ing cards and cal­en­dars, pro­mot­ing spon­sored walks, host­ing the quiz night and hold­ing pop-up shops at the Bay­walk Mall, the lat­ter thanks to Mr. Ma­her Chreiki and Mrs. Zai Mo­hammed.

Pawasol pour ti Ma­mai is very grate­ful to the spon­sors who con­trib­uted to the suc­cess of the evening and would like to sin­cerely thank the fol­low­ing per­sons: Sue Wright of Raz­mataz Restau­rant and her hard work­ing staff; Michael Speak­man of Bar­bay Ltd. for the wine; Thomas Leonce of Wind­ward and Lee­ward Brew­eries for beer; Dun­stan Du Boulay of Du Boulay’s Bot­tling Co. for wa­ter and soft drinks; Charles Devaux of Fer­rands Dairy for ice cream; Vince Caf­ferky for be­ing a great Mas­ter of Cer­e­monies. And to all other per­sons who con­trib­uted in one way or an­other to ac­com­plish this goal, the ogan­i­sa­tion ex­presses its grat­i­tude.
