Gros Islet Com­mu­nity Hosts Christ­mas Party

The Gros Islet com­mu­nity with the Par­lia­men­tary Rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hip­polyte hosted Christ­mas ac­tiv­i­ties through­out the dis­trict for the el­derly and chil­dren at the week­end.

Ac­tiv­i­ties started off with Christ­mas par­ties for chil­dren in Grand Riviere, Monchy and Gros Islet on Satur­day 19th De­cem­ber held at the pri­mary schools in the dif­fer­ent ar­eas. Each child en­joyed a tasty meal. Toys were dis­trib­uted and gifts were pre­sented to the chil­dren who were con­sid­ered to be the best dancers and best singers.

Ac­tiv­i­ties con­tin­ued on Sun­day 20th De­cem­ber with a lunch for the el­derly at the Dame Pear­lette Pri­mary School. Guests were treated to a de­li­cious meal and were pre­sented wth gifts.

The Gros Islet com­mu­nity and the Par­lia­men­tary Rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hip­polyte would like to thank all the spon­sors and or­ga­niz­ers for their con­tri­bu­tions and con­tin­ued sup­port for th­ese ac­tiv­i­ties.
