Blue Olive moves to Water­side Lo­ca­tion

From Novem­ber 23rd, 2015 to Jan­uary 8th, 2016, cus­tomers who pur­chased one Fab­u­loso and one Suavi­tel were given a chance to win weekly prizes of irons, iron­ing boards, ham­pers and dry­ing racks. Cus­tomers also had the op­por­tu­nity to win the grand prizes - one of two fam­ily-sized wash­ing ma­chines. With both Fab­u­loso and Suavi­tel be­ing trusted home care brands, cus­tomers were ea­ger to par­tic­i­pate.

Hav­ing over a month of weekly draws, Peter & Com­pany Dis­tri­bu­tion’s “Fab­u­loso Christ­mas Pro­mo­tion” cul­mi­nated with a grand prize draw on Thurs­day 14th Jan­uary, 2016. Screams of ex­cite­ment were all that could be heard when Verona Cetoute and Clare Feli­cien were given their grand prizes.

Chenelle Bai­ley, Brand Man­ager for Fab­u­loso, stated, “It has cer­tainly been a very ex­cit­ing pe­riod for our cus­tomers as weekly prizes have been won since the start of the pro­mo­tion. It was our way of say­ing thank you to our pa­trons with the added bonus of bring­ing smiles on their faces for the yule­tide sea­son and for the New Year.”

Ms. Bai­ley ex­pressed her ap­pre­ci­a­tion to all who par­tic­i­pated in the Fab­u­loso Christ­mas Pro­mo­tion and thanked ev­ery­one who as­sisted in help­ing to make it a huge suc­cess.

Anew year and a new lo­ca­tion is com­ing for Blue Olive Restau­rant and Wine Bar. Af­ter over­look­ing busy Rod­ney Bay Vil­lage from the ter­race at Bay­walk Mall for more than four years, on Mon­day Fe­bru­ary 1, 2016 Blue Olive is mov­ing to a water­side lo­ca­tion: for­mer home of the Chart­house Restau­rant in the heart of Rod­ney Bay. Ac­cord­ing to owner Bruno Galon, the menu will un­dergo ma­jor changes; it will be a more in­no­va­tive one with a Caribbean twist.

Other changes in­clude the open­ing hours. Blue Olive will no longer open for luncch but in­stead, guests can pass by for a sun­set cock­tail from 4pm daily, with din­ner ser­vice start­ing at 6pm.

“We are open­ing the bar from 4pm so that guests can come for an af­ter-work lime, then have an early din­ner and en­joy the water­side views from the restau­rant,” said the Blue Olive wine ex­pert and restau­ra­teur.

This new twist on a Saint Lu­cian favourite eatery is bound to ap­peal to the food­ies of the is­land who agree that Blue Olive is con­sis­tently im­pres­sive with its cui­sine. Us­ing the fresh­est pro­duce and seafood on the is­land, Bruno and his team con­coct ex­cit­ing, in­ter­est­ing dishes ev­ery night, and a loyal cadre of happy cus­tomers will vouch for that.

Blue Olive will re­lo­cate to the for­mer Chart­house lo­ca­tion, close to Elena’s Ice Cream in Rod­ney Bay, as of Fe­bru­ary 1, 2016 and will be open from 4pm ev­ery­day for drinks with din­ner from 6pm. Please email info@blue­o­livestlu­ for more in­for­ma­tion and menus.
