Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of The Facilities Manager is responsible for all management, planning and program development within the Office of Facilities Management. Functions subsumed include building maintenance and repair services, utilities management, custodial services, grounds maintenance and landscaping services, vehicle and transportation services, mail services and warehousing. In that capacity, the Manager is expected to bring about the Transformation of the Facilities Management Department by devising and implementing strategies for restructuring, realigning, redesigning and reengineering the various units in the department to develop and sustain high quality facilities operations that support SALCC’s fundamental mission of teaching and learning. A Masters’ Degree in a relevant field e.g. Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, Project Management; five years relevant experience; A Bachelors’ degree such as Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, Project Management and at least ten years of relevant experience.
