Rotary Club of Gros Islet once again extends a hand of generosity to the Cerebral Palsy Association of St Lucia

The Star (St. Lucia) - - LOCAL -

The Cerebral Palsy Association of St Lucia would like to thank the Rotary Club of Gros Islet for its generous contribution of $2625 towards funding the horseback riding programme for 2016. The contributions of organizations such as the Rotary Club assist greatly in providing services to members. The horseback riding programme is an essential form of therapy for persons with motor difficulties. The association also provides assistance to families of persons with Cerebral Palsy in other areas and thus funding is critical to sustain its many undertakings.

We encourage and invite the general public, corporate citizens and individuals to support our fund raising efforts. Our first two fundraisers for 2016 include a cake sale to be held at the JQ Rodney Bay Mall on Saturday 27th February from 9:00 am. Following is our Bingo Night planned for Saturday May 28th at the CSA Centre in Sans Souci. Please come out to support a worthy cause. For additional information please call 2864729 and 728-4723.

Again, thank you to the Rotary Club of Gros Islet for assisting us in achieving our goal of “rising above physical challenges!”
