YOUTH ON FIRE MINSTRY BECOMES A MOVEMENT

The Star (St. Lucia) - - LOCAL -

Youth on Fire Ministry, a not-for-profit youth organisation in the west coast village of Ansela-Raye announces that effective February 14, 2016 the group’s name changed to Youth On Fire Movement. The name change, part of the group’s plan for 2016, was debuted at YOFM’s third annual Anniversary Cocktail Party.

Over the past twelve years the group has evolved tremendously yet its mission has remained the same: to develop holistic individuals in the community by providing youth opportunities to participate in wholesome, meaningful activities which will therefore encourage skill development and self- expression. This will help to instil hope and confidence for continued growth in the development of our families and community, by extension.

The 2016 Youth On Fire Movement Executive plans to bring the group even further in its quest to “Changing the world, one youth at a time!”
