Pawasol Fundraiser

The Star (St. Lucia) - - LOCAL -

Pawasol Pour Ti Mamai (Children's Umbrella), a Saint Lucian charitable organization, would like to thank all its members and sponsors, those who walked, cheered or just had us in their thoughts for our fund-raising walk.

The 5-mile walk took place on Sunday April 3rd and began at 6 a.m. The route started at the entrance to Pigeon Island, through Becune Point, Cap Estate, then down to the beach and back up to the entrance of Pigeon Island passing in front of The Landings.

The organization is happy that 40 persons showed up for the walk and that EC$9,000 was raised.

100% of the funds raised by the walk and all other fundraisers is used to help Saint Lucian children in need. Requests for help are regularly received from school principals, medical doctors, social workers and community groups, so the organization needs all the help it can get.

For details on how to become a member of Pawasol Pour Ti Mamai, please visit us on facebook : Pawasol Pour Ti Mamai, or contact us by e-mail: pawasolpourtimamai@gmail.com

Once again the organization thanks everyone who participated in one way or another and looks forward to helping more Saint Lucian children.

Pawasol Pour Ti Mamai members and supporters literally stepped forward to help.
