Peter & Com­pany Dis­tri­bu­tion steps up to Jazz & Arts

From the kick-off party of the 25th an­niver­sary of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Fes­ti­val on Fri­day April 29 to the grand fi­nale on Sun­day May 8, Peter & Com­pany Dis­tri­bu­tion will be an in­te­gral part of this year’s event. Through many of its prod­ucts and brands, Peter & Com­pany Dis­tri­bu­tion has teamed up with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, or­ga­niz­ers of the fes­ti­val, as bronze spon­sors of the an­nual fes­ti­val to cre­ate en­gage­ments with pa­trons like never be­fore.

“It is an ex­cit­ing op­por­tu­nity where we can lever­age our brands and cre­ate great consumer en­gage­ment by part­ner­ing with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board at this year’s 25th Jazz & Arts Fes­ti­val. Now as a merged en­tity, this aligns with our cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity to sup­port cul­tural ac­tiv­i­ties and com­mu­nity de­vel­op­ment,” says Dex­ter Per­cil, Se­nior Sales & Mar­ket­ing Man­ager.

Through two of its pre­mium brands - Hen­nessy and John­nie Walker Black - plus sev­eral oth­ers, PCD will cel­e­brate the open­ing of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Fes­ti­val’s sil­ver ju­bilee at the Min­doo Phillip Park on Fri­day April 29. The event will fea­ture Hy­per D and Hol­ly­wood HP, Sir Lancealot with Michael Robin­son, Nerdy, Mys­te­rio, Sedale & Wildfire, Arthur, Tropix band, Ezra, DYP, Lovin­deer, Lyrikal and Dance­hall per­former ex­traor­di­naire Mo­vado.

“It’s no mis­take that we have strate­gi­cally placed Hen­nessy at the fore­front for the open­ing of Jazz, as Hen­nessy is Mo­vado’s fa­vorite drink and we will en­sure we will quench his thirst that night!” says Akim Larcher, Moet & Hen­nessy Brand Man­ager.

Dur­ing the fes­ti­val PCD brands and prod­ucts will be felt all over the is­land in­clud­ing Soufriere Cre­ole Jazz & Arts, Monchy Mizik en Kweyol, Marigot Jazz, and Vieux Fort Jazz Mou­vman An­samn. Cam­pari, John­nie Walker Black, Ciroc, De­wars and Bare­foot wines will be among the cel­e­brated prod­ucts at th­ese events.

A num­ber of the VIP and celebrity Jazz af­ter-par­ties will also see the full ef­fect of that spe­cial brand pres­ence for which PCD is renowned. Th­ese par­ties in­clude At­mos­phere, Dif­fer­ent Shades and Rap­ture.

For the main­stage events, which run from Fri­day May 6 to Sun­day May 8 at Pi­geon Is­land, the brands in­tend to wow cus­tomers as much as the main­stage acts them­selves. Th­ese consumer en­gage­ments by the com­pany will in­clude a VIP lounge like no other, cour­tesy John­nie Walker Black, Ciroc and Hen­nessy of­fer­ing first class bot­tle ser­vice.

In ad­di­tion, the newly re­named Ko­tex Re­fresh Zone will be an area for pa­trons to re­lax, en­joy chilled re­fresh­ments, and ob­tain sam­ples of fem­i­nine hy­giene items dur­ing the cen­tre stage Satur­day and Sun­day acts while Kas­sav, Air Sup­ply, Ge­orge Ben­son and Marc An­thony raise the tem­per­a­ture.

The 25th an­niver­sary of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Fes­ti­val is go­ing to be a world class party like no other and Peter & Com­pany Dis­tri­bu­tion will be there to in­vig­o­rate, en­er­gize, quench and ex­cite and even cool down when nec­es­sary.
