Did Elections 666 Reveal the Real Jadia?

What is hidden from the wise and the prudent will be revealed to the babes and the suckling. Jadia will need that mouthpiece for herself.

- Clovis Chris Seph

Couldn’t have said it any better. Great article!

- Glyne Carlisle Collymore

This writer is right on. The same sentiments i’ve been echoing. Jadia and SLAP did more harm than good for SLP.

– Chrisa Nina

Jadia is going places and her mouth will take her there. “Omerosa” the more exposure she gets the better, negative or positive all good credits.

- Dewin Warren

Somehow I cannot help but feel that our women get more harshly criticized in all spheres of society including politics. This is why I believe many of our women are reluctant to take their place at the forefront of our politics. But may I also dear say that when you put yourself before the public and you entrench yourself as a public figure, commentator, critic etc, you best prepare yourself to be scrutinized and criticized as well. I guess that’s just the way it goes not just Saint Lucia but the world over and we must accept.

- Paulinus.

Jadia you are a great individual, stay positive.

– Daniel Cadette

You people take politics way too seriously. Rick Wayne has a job to do, same way the Star has their job to do regardless of who or what they publish about. If there’s a story, why not publish it?

– Sweetlips Honey

Saint Lucians have been putting politics above all else for as long as I can remember, families especially being divided by red and yellow. While I do not condone her very public remarks, Jadia is not the only one. In addition, politics was not her only reason for making the remarks that she did. On another point, if Saint Lucians choose to follow someone based on their words (which can be easily misinterpreted as we see the case with Jadia) and not based on their actions over the last five years, then we truly deserve the government we have elected.

- Sansha

Take heart, fellow ‘designers of dissonance!’

Please ! Put a sock in it. Simply put, his primary influence on St Lucian politics was the fact he got things done. Not all was favourable to the masses. Sometimes he had to rob Peter to pay Paul, even selling the sea bed and giving land and passports and diplomatic immunity for millions to feed thy people but he got things done. Now let’s see what’s “for sale” by Allen and company to feed and trick the masses, Incentives, Incentives, Incentives - that will be their only options. I can hear the phone ringing. Could it be Butch on the line?

– King Majesty

A good read and plenty of food for thought still, after all those years.

The New Cabinet of Ministers

Please help me understand this new Cabinet configuration. I still have not heard a good explanation by the prime minister, his ministers or his attache’.

- Pope Paul

Arrogance Lost the 2016 Elections!

This article is not only a clear indication as to where the SLP and its leader went wrong, bualso a map as to where this new administration should not tread. Take heed!

– Joseph

So sad that it has to take five years for the voices of the people to be heard. Clearly Kenny Anthony had lost touch with the masses and was listening to no one but his cronies and himself. So what is your legacy now Doc? What are the hallmarks of your representation for Vieux Fort South?

- Miguel C.

St. Lucian Selected for Int’l Youth Leadership Forum

Good luck to you Vernet Longville. Keep making your community and your country proud!

- Makeeba......

Our headline story last Saturday about the former press secretary to former prime minister Kenny Anthony created quite a stir on Social Media.
