Guinness is major sponsor of Rise Up Reggae Festival
Guinness St Lucia is proud to be a sponsor of the Rise Up Reggae Festival which promises stellar performances from headliners Jah Cure and Sizzla. Guinness, which has long been recognized for its support of musical artistes and concerts, particularly in the dancehall and reggae genres, will present the brand at Rise Up in an innovative way.
“Being a brand that is distinctly made of more we have partnered with the coordinators of Rise Up as the official stout of the festival and will present patrons with the Guinness Black Lounge, which will allow them to interact with the brand much more intimately and leave them with a sense of what the brand stands for,” said Rohan Lovence, Guinness St. Lucia Brand Manager.
Guinness is actively promoting the festival through its Thursday event, TGIT (Thank Guinness its Thursday), at Prudy’s Bar on Pigeon Island Causeway and at Pier 28 in Soufriere. Patrons of the event have the opportunity to win passes to the Guinness Black Lounge along with cool Guinness merchandise.
Twenty-five lucky winners will be chosen to experience how Guinness is made of more at Rise Up, where one winner will receive the complete VIP experience. Patrons also have the opportunity to win passes through Instagram, Facebook and radio stations including The Wave, Blazing FM and RCI, who have partnered with Guinness St Lucia to bring the promotion to life.
“We are really excited to be part of this event because it fits in seamlessly with what the brand is made of and captures the greatness in the artistry of dancehall and reggae music,” Lovence concluded.
Rise Up Reggae Festival is slated to take place on April 16th 2017 at the Soufriere Stadium.
