Saint Lu­cia Tourist Board Pro­motes Is­land on Pop­u­lar US Net­works

The Saint Lu­cia Tourist Board (SLTB) has been in high gear pro­mot­ing the is­land in the US mar­ket as a choice va­ca­tion des­ti­na­tion. Re­cently, the SLTB has ap­peared on highly rated Amer­i­can television sta­tions high­light­ing Saint Lu­cia’s unique ap­peal for tourists seek­ing a premier hol­i­day ex­pe­ri­ence. On Wed­nes­day, June 28, the Board’s Mar­ket­ing Man­ager for the US, Kelly Fon­tenelle-Clarke, ap­peared on the NBC 6 ‘In the Mix’ show with host Rox­anne Var­gas. Fon­tenelle-Clarke spoke en­thu­si­as­ti­cally about Saint Lu­cia as the pre­ferred hon­ey­moon des­ti­na­tion for cou­ples seek­ing an in­ti­mate and ro­man­tic es­cape. A trip to Saint Lu­cia is part of NBC 6’s an­nual Ul­ti­mate Hon­ey­moon Give­away Sweep­stakes pro­mo­tion in which the SLTB has par­tic­i­pated over the years to drive tourists to the is­land.

The SLTB has done a se­ries of in­ter­views on ABC Tampa Bay’s ‘Morn­ing Blend Show’ with the first air­ing June 21 when Ex­ec­u­tive Chair­per­son, Agnes Fran­cis, ap­peared on the travel seg­ment with Elite Travel’s Tammy Levent. Mrs. Fran­cis high­lighted Saint Lu­cia’s di­verse range of nat­u­ral at­trac­tions and its ap­peal as a haven for vis­i­tors seek­ing re­ju­ve­na­tion and well­ness. Three sub­se­quent in­ter­views on ABC Tampa Bay will be aired on Au­gust 2, Septem­ber 27 and Oc­to­ber 18, 2017. The shows will fea­ture Min­is­ter for Tourism, Hon. Do­minic Fedee and Mar­ket­ing Man­ager for the US, Kelly Fon­tenelle-Clarke. Each in­ter­view will fo­cus on a dif­fer­ent as­pect of Saint Lu­cia’s tourism prod­uct such as ro­mance and soft ad­ven­ture.

The SLTB is press­ing for­ward with its man­date to pro­mote the sus­tain­able growth and devel­op­ment of the tourism in­dus­try. Its over­seas mar­ket­ing ef­fort is vi­tal to ful­fill­ing this man­date and it will con­tinue to max­imise me­dia op­por­tu­ni­ties such as th­ese to pro­pel the in­dus­try to­ward suc­cess.
