Celebration of the 18th Anniversary of the Enthronement of His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco
On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco (Throne Day) the Ambassador of His Majesty the King in Saint Lucia (resident), His Excellency Mr. Abderrahim Kadmiri and his wife Mrs Najat Kadmiri, hosted a reception at the Royal Rex Hotel on Sunday.
Specially invited guests joined in the celebration, with the ceremony seeing the attendance of Her Excellency Dame Pearlette Louisy, Governor General of Saint Lucia, and His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, as well as ministers of government, members of parliament and the diplomatic corps accredited to Saint Lucia.
Ambassador Abderrahim Kadmiri emphasized in his welcoming speech the important development projects and political and institutional reforms carried out under the leadership of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, as well as the South-South cooperation engaged by Morocco with its African partners.
The Moroccan envoy said that the relations between Saint Lucia and his country are marked by friendship and solidarity. He also underlined that education will be the next cooperation field to further strengthen relations between the two countries, in addition to the existing ones including agriculture and vocational training.
Ambassador Abderrahim Kadmiri, who presented his credentials to Her Excellency Dame Pearlette Louisy, Governor General of Saint Lucia, on December 15, 2016, is accredited to 10 other Caribbean countries.
