Tropical Traveller Magazine - - NIBBLES -

For twenty-two years Baron Foods have forged a path of success by bringing the favourite flavours of Saint Lucia to the world, and creating innovative products to enhance the cuisine of the Caribbean. From their headquarters in Vieux Fort, Baron have made their name in excellence, quality and presentation by winning internationally acclaimed awards and certificates, all of which attest to the vision that is incorporated into each product.

Classic Pepper Sauce - Fresh Scotch Bonnet peppers, ground with spices and vinegar then left to age and delicately ferment in special barrels to produce this fiery, flavorful condiment.

The Scotch bonnet (Capsicum chinense) is reputed as the hottest pepper in the world. It is found mainly in the Caribbean islands, with a shape resembling a Scot's bonnet . Most Scotch bonnets have a heat rating of 150,000-325,000 Scoville Units .

Award-winning Baron West Indian Hot Sauce - A truly West Indian Hot Sauce made from fresh, wholesome peppers blended with mustard to create its very own individual piquant flavor.

Blazing Hot Pepper Sauce - A highly flavored pepper sauce which focuses as much on heat as it does on flavor. With a twist of fresh lime juice, this combination of Scotch Bonnet Peppers, spices and lime juice is sure to satisfy those extreme heat seekers.

Baron Banana Ketchup - A truly unorthodox product with an exotic tropical flavor. Homegrown St. Lucian bananas are carefully selected and processed with a combination of spices to create this truly tropical blend. Great with fries, bar-b-que or with applications as with traditional Tomato Ketchup.

Bananas are of the family Musaceae and the fruit averages 125g, of which approximately 75% is water and 25% dry matter content. Bananas are a valuable source of Vitamin A , Vitamin C , and potassium.
