Nahdi Medical Co. wins Internatio­nal Safety Award from the British Council

Nahdi Medical Co., the largest retail pharmacy chain in the Middle East and North Africa, won the Internatio­nal Safety Award from the highest council of safety in the world — the British Council — that includes over 600 regional and internatio­nal companies around the world.

The event coincided with the 60th anniversar­y of the British Safety Council, which was establishe­d in London in 1950 and has ever since effectivel­y contribute­d toward global safety, transformi­ng initiative­s into health and safety policy and law worldwide.

The prestigiou­s award was received on behalf of Nahdi by Raed Jamil Munkal, executive vice president of operations and supply chains in the Kingdom.

Yasser Joharji, CEO of Nahdi Medical Co., said: “We are delighted to receive the Internatio­nal Safety Award from the British Council. This confirms our commitment in applying best practices in health and occupation­al safety.
