CHANEL – PREMIERE FLYING TOURBILLON
Adding indelible style to the auction, Chanel submits a reworked version of arguably its most horologically valued model – the Premiere Flying Tourbillon.
The Premiere was the first watch that marked Chanel’s entry into high-end watchmaking in 1987. Last year, for its 25th anniversary, the watch was bestowed a tourbillon complication designed by movement specialist Renaud & Papi, and won the brand the “Best Ladies’ Watch” prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve. This unique edition sets itself apart with a chic black ceramic bezel that replaces the baguette-cut diamond-set bezel in last year’s version, embellished with 169 brilliant-cut diamonds on the sides of the case, the hands, the tourbillon centre and the crown.
