A. LANGE & SOHNE
german watchmaking heritage and technological advances come together in two timepieces with sophisticated movements beneath their deceptively simple demeanours.
ICON: LANGE 1
Launched at A. Lange & Sohne’s “rebirth” in 1994, after almost half a century of inactivity caused by the devastation of WWII, the Lange 1 found instant fame for its distinctive look – separate sub- dials for the hours/minutes and the seconds, as well as a power-reserve scale.
The watch’s regal demeanour is matched by its quality construction and fi nishing. It houses exquisitely decorated components that have been assembled twice – a signature of the brand – to ensure smooth operation. The Lange 1 collection has grown to include numerous variants, including the Lange 1 Tourbillon and Lange 1 Timezone, a two-time-zone watch for the jet-set.
