DARREN HO’s obsession with watches has some unfortunate side effects, such as the occasional drooling when he sees an haute horlogerie piece. ELIZABETH DOERR has been a regular in the world of watch publishing since 1991 and is the editor-in-chief of horological platform QuillandPad.com. A regular contributor to Forbes.com, she published her first book on independent watchmaking in 2010, titled 12 Faces of Time. She lends her expertise to Adore with a feature on the different types of certifications used by watchmakers (page 54).
When SEAN MOSSADEG isn’t busy chasing his dreams of being a Sith Lord and practising yoga with Yoda, he writes for August Man and its timepiece supplement MVMT. Fascinated by watches from a young age, his love for all things horological is only surpassed by his obsession with cats — especially fluffy ones. He gets caught up in the world of smartwatches in this edition (page 38).
