With ris­ing tem­per­a­tures and ocean acid­i­fi­ca­tion dev­as­tat­ing co­ral and killing off de­pen­dent marine life, there is one group that seems to be adapt­ing to the harsh con­di­tions. Cephalopods, sug­gests Pro­fes­sor Bron­wyn Gillanders, pos­sess a set of traits that al­low them to adapt to chang­ing oceans and po­ten­tially thrive in these new con­di­tions.
