It's always this period post-CNY that casts a gloomy shadow over many business owners. Many tend to spend and invest a lot before CNY and spend quite sometime after to digest their purchases and make profits. However, it's also the best time for product companies to conduct classes, training seminars and allow new salons to test and sample their latest products. Business may seem slow during this lull period, but it is not yet the end.
New creative and unique products innovated and designed to cater to different salon owners are also showcased in Beauty Cosmedica. What I can highlight is how green, environmentally-friendly and organic skin care products are increasingly growing and looking for discerning clienteles whom are willing to pay a bit more for going green.
That said, do also be aware of products that are “green-washing” you – claiming to be green and organic but are not. As a responsible business owner on your end, you have to be aware and discerning – check the labels thoroughly and check with authorized certification boards to verify the product's authenticity.
Meanwhile, never give up your search for the real ‘green' deal. Pretty soon, it will be readily available at your disposal, and you can use them safely for your clients. It is really worth the wait and search.
