It's al­ways this pe­riod post-CNY that casts a gloomy shadow over many busi­ness own­ers. Many tend to spend and in­vest a lot be­fore CNY and spend quite some­time af­ter to di­gest their pur­chases and make prof­its. How­ever, it's also the best time for prod­uct com­pa­nies to con­duct classes, train­ing sem­i­nars and al­low new sa­lons to test and sam­ple their latest prod­ucts. Busi­ness may seem slow dur­ing this lull pe­riod, but it is not yet the end.

New cre­ative and unique prod­ucts in­no­vated and de­signed to cater to dif­fer­ent sa­lon own­ers are also show­cased in Beauty Cosmed­ica. What I can high­light is how green, en­vi­ron­men­tally-friendly and or­ganic skin care prod­ucts are in­creas­ingly grow­ing and look­ing for dis­cern­ing clien­te­les whom are will­ing to pay a bit more for go­ing green.

That said, do also be aware of prod­ucts that are “green-wash­ing” you – claim­ing to be green and or­ganic but are not. As a re­spon­si­ble busi­ness owner on your end, you have to be aware and dis­cern­ing – check the la­bels thor­oughly and check with au­tho­rized cer­ti­fi­ca­tion boards to ver­ify the prod­uct's au­then­tic­ity.

Mean­while, never give up your search for the real ‘green' deal. Pretty soon, it will be read­ily avail­able at your dis­posal, and you can use them safely for your clients. It is re­ally worth the wait and search.
