Q: Tell us about your journey with HAP Global so far. Wang: Thanks to Mr. Zhou's discerning and insightful judgments on the market trend, I was able to bring Taiwan's all-rounded meridian loosening method to Singapore and educate the local beauty industry. I'm delighted that this skill has gained acceptance as well as the favour of the public consumers. I'm also grateful to be able to establish the treatment's reputation in Singapore, as the first stop for international marketing.

Q: Is there a big difference between Singapore and Taiwan market? W: In regards to the promotion of technical education, Taiwan and Singapore uses a similar method; the only difference is that the language used in Singapore needs to be more comprehensible. The current market demands for health-preserving and ache relief treatments have surpassed the demand for facial skin-care services. Therefore, the treatment methods that I have created, which features of combination of Chinese and Western skills to enhance the body's well-being, conforms to the market's expectations.

Q: During your training, you emphasize a lot on theory; in fact you want the trainees to memorize many portions. What do you want them to achieve? W: Being in this industry for 30 years, I have witnessed many therapists working blindly, without any theorybased techniques and even using the wrong postures. Therefore, I emphasize greatly on theories during my teachings to allow every student to fully understand the acupoints and musculoskeletal surface anatomy concepts. Not only does it prevent the therapists from unknowingly hurting themselves, but also it helps in maintaining the health and well-being of their clients. I hope that after going through the course, my students will possess theoretical knowledge and professional techniques, so that they are able to gain the trust and respect of their customers.

HAILING FROM TAIWAN, MASTER WANG WAS IN TOWN RECENTLY TO SHARE HER INSIGHTS AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE LOCAL BEAUTY THERAPISTS ON THE ANCIENT ART OF MERIDIAN THERAPY. IN THIS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW, SHE TELLS US MORE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE REJUVENATING MERIDIANS TISSUE MANIPULATION TREATMENT AND ITS BENEFITS.

Q: On average, how many times per month would you recommend a customer to go for the treatment? W: It is highly recommended to go for the treatment twice a month, as each session comprises of 2 to 3 hours of tendon loosening. Nowadays, it is common for people to suffer from prolonged stress, bad eating habits and postures, which easily results in meridian congestion. Therefore, I would personally recommend some of my clients to go for treatments regularly, to prevent further congestion and discomfort.

Q: What types of clients are not suitable for this tendon massage? W: This massage treatment is not ideal for individuals suffering from skin allergies or acute periarthritis, as well as post-surgery patients.

Q: Are there any regions that are not exposed to / not accepting of this treatment? W: As of now, due to the advantage of digital communication and the ingrained concept of meridian health, I'm able to share with people worldwide and let them understand that this treatment can help unblock meridians and contribute to the body's overall wellness. Therefore, I believe, with effective communication skills, any country, regardless of culture, can accept tendon message treatments.

Q: After all these years, do you think that you have covered enough in this field? W: I wouldn't say that it is enough, because I believe knowledge is infinite. However, I'm confident enough to say that 20 years of effort in this industry has fully paid off. With the hard work and efforts that our team has put in, we are able to share this ancient meridian loosening treatment with the world and the beauty industry.
