The Amer­ica Na­tional Bureau of Eco­nomic Re­search found that the av­er­age age where No­bel Prize win­ners had their big eureka mo­ment is the big 4-0. So don’t worry if you’re more into keep­ing up with the Kar­dashi­ans than with the de­vel­op­ments in, say, space ex­plo­ration. The re­searchers ob­served that peo­ple tend to pro­duce their best work when they hit mid­dle age.
