Till your heart's content
Across four sumptuous days, 40 celebrity chefs will be cooking up a culinary masterpiece that spans the world. The GREAT Food Festival has arrived.
Mark your calendar and empty your stomach as this mouth-watering festival looks set to satiate all sorts of appetites. From September 21 to 24, The GREAT Food Festival (TGFF) will be making its debut at Resorts World Sentosa. A collaboration between the renowned resort and Savour Events—famed for their eponymously named annual food festival—TGFF will host a glittering list of star chefs and a spread of tantalising dining experiences.
With over 40 invited culinary mavens from around the globe filling the plates alongside Resort World’s very own stable of Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs, TGFF will be the largest gourmet event in Singapore. As tempting as it is to want to try everything, planning, as so in cooking, is essential.
There are five segments held within the two-hectare resort: Star Chef Arena, Heritage Lane, Rollin’ Sweet Times, Feast of Kings and the Connoisseur Collection.
Star Chef Arena is where visitors can get their hands on more than 50 kinds of dishes whipped up by chefs such as Italy’s Enrico and Roberto Cerea from three Michelin-starred Da Vittorio, Florian Favario—Eric Frechon’s protégé from Michelin-starred Céleste at The Lanesborough in London and Ben Spalding, an alumnus of The Fat Duck and L’Enclume. The resort’s resident chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants such as Osia Steak and Seafood Grill, Syun and Joël Robuchon Restaurant will also be showcasing their culinary masterpieces.
With day passes priced at SGD78—which includes SGD35 credits to spend at Star Chef Arena and SGD10 credits at Rollin’ Sweet Times, a showcase of over 300 delectable desserts and pastries—visitors will be spoilt for choice. Oh, did we mention that the price includes access to the Heritage Lane, a segment that features a selection of over 50 dishes made from storied family recipes and methods passed down through the generations? Yes, we have.
For the Feast of Kings and Connoisseur Collection, visitors must act fast to register online as seats are limited. For the former, dine like the Kings and Lords of yore with dishes curated by 10 Michelin-starred chefs. For the latter, a series of three different four-hands dinner will see a collaboration between chefs from Star Chef Arena and resident chefs from Resorts World Sentosa cooking up a storm.
If this doesn’t make you hungry, we don’t know what will.
