You’re fit, but my gosh, don’t you know it?

You don’t need a human running partner; the JBL Reflect Fit is an appropriate substitute.

Just when you think you’ve plateaued with wireless sports headphones, a company like JBL surprises with one that has a heart rate monitor. Called JBL Reflect Fit, this headphone has its heart rate monitor located in the earbuds. It checks your heart rate with refracted light from the blood vessels in your ears and data can be streamed to most fitness apps. There are reports out there about the earbuds not being able to read your heart rate if you’re exercising but there was nary a problem with my own experience with the headphone.

Made with consideration for running, the device is sweat-proof, ergonomic and has reflective stripes along the wires. There’s the usual JBL-signature sound from the 5.8mm dynamic drivers and after a bout of running, you don’t really notice the weight of it. The earbud cables can’t be adjusted, but there’s enough slack for the average user (unless you’re a human/giraffe hybrid, in which case these earphones aren’t for you).

JBL Reflect Fit retails for SGD199 and is available at all JBL authorised sellers.
