Choices With all four levels of its enormous 4,200-square-metre showroom open for customers, we took a tour around the Homestolife building with PHUA BO WEN, the company’s founder and senior manager of retail excellence.

Homestolife (HTL) sits on a prime spot on Mohamed Sultan Road – taking up four levels of a building located in the buzzing Robertson Quay area. Each level has its own theme – or “sphere”, as it’s referred to – with its own range of shopping highlights. “The four levels are like windows into the home,” explains Bo Wen, “and each one is about creating inspiration through our products and our style groups.”

With more than 20 international living, dining and bedding brands to choose from, all under one roof, you’ll find a great diversity in terms of price point and style. And there’s more than just shopping on offer. “We really want to encourage customers to stay here for as long as they can,” explains Bo Wen, “and with the decompression areas such as the café and play area, it’s easier for customers to relax.”

Below are just a few of the things to look for on your next visit to HTL.

LEVEL ONE: Inspire

This level displays a range of reasonably priced Scandinavian-style furniture, including desks, side tables, accessories and children’s décor. Then there’s a colourful chair gallery that leads you to the “tasting bar”, or café, at the end, where you can take a load off and relax with a cup of coffee.

It’s not all about furniture on this floor, as there are plenty of home accessory and gift ideas, from cushions and candles to tableware, as well as a range of carpets and other fun pieces.
