ALL INKED UP What’s on in Singapore’s art scene this month

Expat Living (Singapore) - - Arts & Leisure -

Starting this month, National Gallery Singapore refreshes its Chinese ink collections with two new exhibitions:

an exploration of modern ink paintings from the late 19th to 20th centuries, and Strokes of Life: The Art of Chen Chong Swee, a retrospective of the Singaporean artist and his career spanning six decades. Both opening on 9 March, the exhibitions explore the significance of Chinese painting, showcasing works by Chinese ink masters rarely seen in Singapore. See it until November 2017 at City Hall Wing, Level 4 National Gallery Singapore, 1 St Andrew’s Road. nationalgallery.sg
