Everyone had a fabulous time learning to arrange flowers with Flower Addict at our recent Expat Living workshop. Workshop participants also enjoyed delicious eats from The Frank Food Company and Carrotsticks and Cravings.
At the International Fiesta at SAIS this year, students and parents shared and showcased their country’s culture through performances, cuisine, arts and games, plus the students’ parade of national dress. This annual event celebrates the diversity of the school. Students and teachers also enjoyed sampling an array of food from 42 countries, all lovingly prepared by the parents.
Much to Celebrate
The Seasoned Singapore Expat Women Facebook group celebrated its first year with a birthday party at Wild Honey at Scotts Square. Event-goers enjoyed bubbles, canapés and music by Kalli Coplin from Band on the Run.
Thirteen teams of six competed in the Awa-mazing Race organised by the AWA this past February. Participants raced around Singapore completing light physical and fun mental challenges which led them to a secret end
Fairprice Antique owner Chantal Travers and her team hosted a fantastic evening with Lush Platter feasts to announce their new chapter, as the store changes its name to Emperor’s Attic. Expat Living readers took part in a lucky draw to help determine the new name, with one lucky winner going home with a stunning piece
Splash of Colour
It was a colourful evening at the launch of Bouquet Magnifique Meets Gastronomie at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre. The fourday art exhibition with interactive workshops started off with a lavish soirée showcasing live demonstrations by artist-in-residence Arianna Caroli, as well as the epicurean artistry of the hotel’s chefs and mixologists.
The Body Firm recently celebrated the opening of its second outlet at Delfi Orchard (#01-04), in addition to its existing space on the fourth floor. The new space now offers nail services on top of its wide range of non-invasive face and body treatments. At this cosy affair, guests were treated to finger food and wine.

It was a fun and entertaining Waitangi Day as event-goers enjoyed great food, drinks, music and entertainment. Held at the Australian International School, the celebrations included activities for the whole family, from face painting and arts and crafts to delicious eats by companies such as The Butcher, Wakanui Grill Dining Singapore, Kiwi
