WINE FOR THE SOUL

May to Au­gust is also one of the most hap­pen­ing pe­ri­ods filled with events go­ing on al­most ev­ery­where in Aus­tralia. Wine en­thu­si­asts will want to take note that Na­tional Aussie Wine Month falls in May, and dur­ing this pe­riod of time, vis­i­tors can look for­ward to an ar­ray of wine tast­ing events and they can ex­pect to taste some of the best Aus­tralian wines on of­fer. TREAT YOUR EYES AND EARS

Blues on Broad­beach, a four-day long show­case held from 19 to 22 May in Queens­land, showcases some of the best blues play­ers from Aus­tralia. Con­sid­ered one of the coun­try’s largest music fes­ti­vals, the event wel­comes vis­i­tors to bask in the cool vibes on the streets or along the Gold Coast. Other music fes­ti­vals not-to-be­missed in­clude Jazz by the Bay – a fes­ti­val fea­tur­ing lo­cal, na­tional and in­ter­na­tional jazz mu­si­cians and celebri­ties at a va­ri­ety of venues through­out the City of Bus­sel­ton; Mel­bourne In­ter­na­tional Jazz Fes­ti­val – set to be held be­tween the months of May and June, the event will fea­ture more than 300 mu­si­cians and com­prise close to100 events – mostly free con­certs, late-night par­ties, gigs, and film screen­ings; and Bass in the Grass – the largest music fes­ti­val in the
