XBounty Restau­rant is the new­est bistro to open in the heart of the city at the freshly opened KL Jour­nal bou­tique ho­tel. The restau­rant of­fers a va­ri­ety of clas­sic bistro dishes with French, Ital­ian and Mediter­ranean in­flu­ences. It also fea­tures an open­con­cept pas­try stu­dio which sup­plies fresh pas­tries and desserts to the restau­rant.

“The food at Bounty is de­signed with the premise of of­fer­ing an un­fussy menu that showcases qual­ity in­gre­di­ents and their fla­vors in the best pos­si­ble light and at an af­ford­able price.” said Lo­gan Ter­ence Lopez, Ex­ec­u­tive Chef at the restau­rant.

Among its fa­mous main dishes in­clude the Angus Beef Cheek, a slow cooked beef dish mar­i­nated in Guine­ness Stout and Or­richi­ette pasta with duck ragout braised with pep­per­corn. Prices for mains be­gin from RM29 on­wards.

Those who are crav­ing a fu­sion twist can try the Grilled Tiger Prawn mar­i­nated with rum which is served with a risotto made from short grain Ital­ian rice, fresh toma­toes and kim­chi paste.
