Shirley Wong, aka, Lit­tle Miss Bento, gained a large fol­low­ing of fans when she started post­ing her adorable Ja­panese bento lunch­box cre­ations and unique deco sushi rolls on her blog (www.lit­tle­miss­bento.com) and so­cial me­dia chan­nels (@lit­tle­miss­bento).

As the top bento artist and blog­ger in Sin­ga­pore, Shirley has won many awards for her bento cre­ations and is of­ten fea­tured on nu­mer­ous lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional me­dia.

The only Sin­ga­porean to be cer­ti­fied un­der the Ja­pan Sushi In­struc­tor As­so­ci­a­tion in Tokyo, Shirley, who has four years of bento-mak­ing and food art ex­pe­ri­ence un­der her belt, reg­u­larly con­ducts bento classes and work­shops to share her skills.

She pub­lished her first much an­tic­i­pated cook­book Kawaii Bento in De­cem­ber last year, which sold out quickly.

Fol­low­ing the suc­cess of her first cook­book, Kawaii Bento, Shirley has since gone on to launch her sec­ond cook­book , Kawaii Deco Sushi in July 2015 which teaches read­ers how to make deco sushi.
