Ev­ery year, Ritz-carl­ton never fails to im­press with its exquisite hand­made moon­cakes, and this year is no dif­fer­ent. Apart from of­fer­ing its sig­na­ture creations such as the as­sorted mini snowskin mar­tini moon­cakes, as well as the as­sorted baked moon­cakes, the ho­tel has un­veiled two new flavours: the mini cus­tard lava with vanilla and the mini snowskin 'mao shan wang' durian. The for­mer, which fea­tures a de­lec­ta­ble and fra­grant com­bi­na­tion of salted egg yolk and vanilla, is best savoured warm to elicit the smooth, molten tex­ture of the cus­tard fill­ing, while the lat­ter, which is made us­ing pre­mium mao shan wang duri­ans, is best en­joyed chilled.
