Ad­ven­tur­ous food­ies seek­ing new flavours this Mid-au­tumn fes­ti­val will def­i­nitely en­joy Hil­ton Sin­ga­pore’s new snowskin creations – the sig­na­ture Amer­i­can cheese­cake, pop­ping candy, Mus­cat white grape, and bai­leys. Our favourite among the four – the pop­ping candy snowskin moon­cake fea­tur­ing smooth white lo­tus paste that is sprin­kled with pop­ping can­dies, and a 72 per­cent Val­rhon dark choco­late core en­cased within a pil­lowy soft bright pink snowskin – takes us back to our child­hood days. Sold in boxes of 6 (be­gin­ning at S$55 per box), each moon­cake is del­i­cately hand­crafted us­ing finest qual­ity flour for the melt-in­y­our-mouth tex­ture. Tra­di­tion­al­ists, on the other hand, can pick from a se­lec­tion of 6 bakedto-per­fec­tion moon­cakes that are best en­joyed with a cup of Chi­nese tea.
