Four Points Eatery

Food and Travel (Singapore) - - New Bites -

With views of the iconic Singapore River, a meal at Four Points Eatery, with its Oceania Seafood Buffet, would be quite an unforgettable experience. Ceiling-to-floor glass windows transform the restaurant into a bright and sunny enclave during the day, while a sheltered al fresco area with overhead fans make for a cool and relaxing afternoon by the river. Helmed by Executive Chef Lewis Tay, the restaurant offers an international seafood spread of the freshest catch, served alongside a variety of dishes. The prized Sashimi Counter features generous slices of salmon, white tuna, tuna and tako, which are prepared on request. A cold seafood spread showcases snow crabs, mussels, scallops and prawns, along with a selection of dips, while dinner and Sunday Brunch welcome servings of freshly shucked oysters. Moving on to the hot dishes, diners can choose from a selection of grilled seafood, from prawns and fish to squid, yabbies and stingray, and have them done according to local flavours or with Australian or Mediterranean marinades. Other dishes include NZ Mussels in Pot, Grilled Bacon Lobsters, and for dinner ‘Live’ Herbal Prawns. For an additional S$22, crab lovers can choose two live crabs, prepared by chef in either black pepper, chilli or salt baked. On Fridays, for an additional S$18.70, diners can enjoy a spicy Fish Head Curry in Claypot. Throughout the buffet, guests can also meat dishes like the Tandoori Lamb Chops, Beer Pork Knuckle, Spicy Grilled Beef, Poached Chicken, Thai Grill Pork, among others, along with a selection of staples such as noodles, rice, sides, salads and vegetables. ◆ Level 1, Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview, 382 Havelock Road.
