Dessert lovers and those who are re­ally just chil­dren at heart, are in for a treat with the open­ing of Chef Jan­ice Wong’s flag­ship sweets re­tail shop at the Na­tional Mu­seum of Sin­ga­pore. Decked with over 70 types of sweets and a 40-seat restau­rant, the boutique of­fers in­ter­ac­tive and ed­i­ble art that draws from in­di­vid­u­al­ity and nostal­gia. Look­ing to in­spire cus­tomers with her own child­hood mem­o­ries, the store is filled with breath-tak­ing Marsh­mal­low Paint­ings (S$16), de­lec­ta­ble Choco­late Bal­loons (S$55), Fruit Rolls (S$9) and Mochis (S$3), among oth­ers, invit­ing cus­tomers to cre­ate their own art with a se­lec­tion of up to 38 colours of Choco­late Paint (S$15) in flavours such as pas­sion­fruit and green mango. Also up for grabs is the first edi­tion Jan­ice Wong ed­i­ble Toys&games Col­lec­tion that makes for an un­ex­pected sur­prise.
