Yum Cha weekend brunches take on a refined spin at Mitzo Restaurant & Bar. With servings of lobsters, abalone and bamboo clam among the 40 selections of delicacies, dim sums and roasts available, diners will definitely be spoilt for choice. To start, nine selections of supreme delicacies are available for the picking, including the Steamed Bamboo Clam with Minced Garlic in Soya, and the Spicy Chilli Live Lobster served with Bun. The Stir-fried XO Abalone with Asparagus and the Braised Abalone with Tofu are also popular favourites, with each guest able to order one serving from each category. On to the signatures, the Mitzo Special Barbecued Pork is a succulent treat, while the novel Escargot Cheese Puff is an adorable treat for the little one. Other dishes like Har Gao, Siew Mai and Custard Moon Bun, although staples at every dim sum meal, are served with artistic flair. Chef Nicky Ng’s nourishing Doubleboiled soup is definite must-try, while a selection of wok dishes, such as the Braised Truffles Pork and the Stir-fried Beef Cube in Black Pepper Sauce, promise to be a wholesome affair, along with the Braised Duck with Pulled Noodles. Save room for dessert, as none other than the coveted Hokkaido Milk Cheese Tart joins the new assortment of dishes at Mitzo. Or for something a little more traditional, the Aloe Vera with Osmanthus Jelly would be a refreshing way to wrap up the decadent feast.
