Popular homegrown vegetarian restaurant elemen refreshes its menu with new delectable dishes

For those seeking lighter options, both the spinach salad and kale salad are not only delicious, but also offer a slew of health benefits. We were told by one of the waitstaff that the former, which comprises wolfberries and lily bulbs served atop a bed of green spinach, is packed with vitamins K and A, while the latter, which features a good mix of red radish, rock melon, tomato and kale, offers plenty of cholesterol-lowering benefits.

End off a hearty meal with desserts – we tried the new Coconut-infused Jelly with Watermelon Sorbet, and Raspberry Vanilla Dome, and both were equally refreshing and delightful.

Wash it all down with a new selection of healthy beverages including Peach Oolong Tea, Lavender Tea, Iced Coconut Roselle, and Lemongrass Latte. Oolong tea is said to help in weight reduction, while lavender helps promote relaxation and stress relief.

For those who have never visited elemen, the vegetarian dishes served here are not merely nutritious and nourishing, but they are also well presented and full of different flavours and textures. This is made possible as the establishment uses a wide variety of premium raw ingredients such as black Chinese wolfberries, American wild rice, truffle, and peach gum in its dishes, and prepares them in the simplest way with light and healthy seasoning like olive oil, coconut oil, sea salt and alkaline water to retain the ingredients’ nutrients and original flavours. These new additions will be available from 3 October at the Millenia Walk outlet, and from 10 October at the Thomson Plaza outlet. #01-75A, Millenia Walk, 9 Raffles Boulevard.
