Rich in fi­bre, vi­ta­mins A, C, and B6, and an ex­cel­lent source of car­bo­hy­drates, sweet pota­toes are one of the most palat­able and nu­tri­tious roots avail­able. Fea­tur­ing a lovely sweet flavour and a creamy tex­ture, they taste great when baked, roasted or mashed, and can be added to a va­ri­ety of sweet and savoury dishes in­clud­ing pasta, risotto, muffins, cakes, cook­ies, and more. While sweet pota­toes are most com­monly or­ange in colour, they are also avail­able in other colours such as pur­ple.
