PREMIUM QUALITY AKITAKOMACHI RICE
Grown in Chiang Rai, Thailand - the temperate climate there average at 15°C during the months of November, December and January, which makes it suitable for planting short-grain rice that have similar qualities to those grown in Japan – coupled with the team’s meticulous attention to the rice cultivation process, ensures a product that is unmatched, and of exceptional quality.
Also known as a type of high-end, short grain rice, similar to koshihikari but slightly less sticky, akitakomachi is ideal for preparing dishes like sushi, onigiri, bento, and even mochi, where a bit of chewiness is required.
