From Ade­laide, trav­ellers can choose to take ei­ther the ferry or plane to Kangaroo Is­land. The for­mer will take about 45 min­utes to reach from Cape Jervis – a 1.5 hour drive from Ade­laide – while the lat­ter only takes 30 min­utes from Ade­laide Air­port to Kingscote Air­port on Kangaroo Is­land.
