Set in the hip Holland Vil­lage neigh­bour­hood, Otto’s Deli Fresh brings qual­ity and prove­nance to the dis­cern­ing food­ies across Sin­ga­pore. Dishes in­clude home-made muesli, sal­ads, sand­wiches, burg­ers, pas­tas, meats and desserts. Soups like the But­ton mush­room served with toasted brioche and chives make for a hearty start, while the Grilled Fre­man­tle Oc­to­pus Salad with two-hour sous vide oc­to­pus that is char­grilled be­fore served with fresh baby spinach and shav­ings of baby radish. On to the meats, the Pulled Pork Burger comes with pork cheeks that have been slow cooked for five hours be­fore be­ing tossed with house­made BBQ sauce and served with yuzu cab­bage salad, house pick­led Ja­panese cu­cum­ber and fries. Beef lovers can tuck into the Pressed Beef Steak Ci­a­batta, made from hanger steak and Bre­saola beef served with gruyere cheese and caramelised onions, and Beef Stroganoff Fet­tuc­cine, with white but­ton mush­rooms. A Lime­stone Ridge full blood wagyu beef rump that is grilled and baked in the oven, served with house­made BBQ sauce, is a de­li­cious treat, while the Her­itage US Kurobuta pork rack is a suc­cu­lent dish. Wrap up the meal with a se­lec­tion of desserts, such as the Burnt Banana Waf­fles served with peanut but­ter gelato, and the Crème Brulee, with pineap­ple com­pote made from slow cooked pineap­ples and rum.
