Fans of aro­matic Per­anakan cui­sine will be pleased to know that Baba Chews’ of­fer­ings of fes­tive take­aways come with head chef, Alvin Leong’s unique twist. Clas­sic tur­key, for ex­am­ple, is rein­ter­preted as Tur­key Breast ‘Sio’ (S$88) where a 2kg tur­key breast is slow-baked with tamarind and co­rian­der sea­son­ing then glazed with shal­lot and plum sauce. Fes­tive Set Lunches (S$22 for two cour­ses, S$25 for three cour­ses) and Din­ners (S$70 for two, S$140 for three or four) are avail­able on week­days lead­ing up to Christ­mas Eve from 5-23 and 27-30 De­cem­ber.
