Ce­real man­u­fac­turer Kel­logg's rice krispies are made from rice that is cooked with a lightly sweet­ened malt flavour­ing. After the rice is cooked and par­tially dried, the warm rice is then rolled and given time to sit, al­low­ing the flavour to fully de­velop. There­after, the grains are toasted so that they can ex­pand and turn into crispy puffs. This rice krispy ce­real is best en­joyed with milk.
