Hav­ing ex­plored over a hun­dred cupcake flavours so far, head baker Nursyazanna Syaira of Fluff Bak­ery is no stranger to try­ing new things. Fol­low­ing her dream and leav­ing her job to cre­ate amaz­ing desserts led her to the open­ing of her first bak­ery at Jalan Pisang. To date, the most pop­u­lar flavour is the On­deh On­deh cupcake, which is the bak­ery’s play­ful take on lo­cal del­i­cacy with flavours of pan­dan, gula me­laka and co­conut cream. Un­usual treats in­clude the maple pan­cake caramelised beef ba­con, which is es­sen­tially a vanilla cupcake filled with maple pud­ding and topped with maple and sticky maple caramelised beef ba­con bits. Look out for fa­mil­iar flavours such as Nutella Red Vel­vet and Salted Caramel that got the brand started and still hold a spe­cial place on the menu.
