Chickpea Flour

Food and Travel (Singapore) - - Cook's Basics -

An excellent source of protein, fiber and iron, chickpea flour is most commonly used in Middle Eastern and Indian cooking to make things like socca and falafel. It can also be used to bake pizza crusts, brownies, cakes and breads too. Do note that chickpea flour does have a distinct chickpea flavour, so it is best it in baked goods that have strong flavours, such as chocolate and pumpkin.
