L'Oréal Pro­fes­sion­nel launches the first in-sa­lon V-Look ser­vice in Sin­ga­pore to achieve the ideal V-Shaped face as inspired by the Korean beauty trend. Cov­eted by many Asian women, the “face-slim­ming ef­fect” hair­cut and colour ser­vice is es­pe­cially cre­ated to suit the Asian con­sumers.

The V-Look by L'Oréal Pro­fes­sion­nel helps Asian women of all face shapes to achieve a slim­mer V-Line face with­out the use of cos­met­ics or surgery. It in­volves a com­bi­na­tion of pre­cise hair­cut tech­niques with smart­but-sim­ple colour place­ments to cre­ate the ideal V-shaped face.

More vol­ume is cre­ated at the top and lay­ers are used to frame the face while an airy fringe can help sub­tly hide a sec­tion of the face. The hair­cut can also be used to re­frame (for round­shaped face), re­de­fine (for square­shaped face) or re­bal­ance (for tri­an­gle­shaped face). By plac­ing lighter colours in some ar­eas and darker colours in other ar­eas, dif­fer­ent face shapes can be con­cealed, con­toured or cor­rected.

As the of­fi­cial hair spon­sor of the Sin­ga­pore Fash­ion Week 2015, L'Oréal Pro­fes­sion­nel show­cased an im­pres­sive hair show boast­ing the V-Look on the run­way. Dis­play­ing an in­spir­ing in­ter­pre­ta­tion of the V-Look in a live styling demon­stra­tion was top Korean celebrity hair stylists, Cha Hong, and world-class French hair­dresser and L'Oréal Pro­fes­sion­nel's am­bas­sador, Christophe Gail­let.
