L'Oréal Professionnel launches the first in-salon V-Look service in Singapore to achieve the ideal V-Shaped face as inspired by the Korean beauty trend. Coveted by many Asian women, the “face-slimming effect” haircut and colour service is especially created to suit the Asian consumers.
The V-Look by L'Oréal Professionnel helps Asian women of all face shapes to achieve a slimmer V-Line face without the use of cosmetics or surgery. It involves a combination of precise haircut techniques with smartbut-simple colour placements to create the ideal V-shaped face.
More volume is created at the top and layers are used to frame the face while an airy fringe can help subtly hide a section of the face. The haircut can also be used to reframe (for roundshaped face), redefine (for squareshaped face) or rebalance (for triangleshaped face). By placing lighter colours in some areas and darker colours in other areas, different face shapes can be concealed, contoured or corrected.
As the official hair sponsor of the Singapore Fashion Week 2015, L'Oréal Professionnel showcased an impressive hair show boasting the V-Look on the runway. Displaying an inspiring interpretation of the V-Look in a live styling demonstration was top Korean celebrity hair stylists, Cha Hong, and world-class French hairdresser and L'Oréal Professionnel's ambassador, Christophe Gaillet.
