SHISEIDO PROFESSIONAL 100 YEARS OF SCALP CARE
Date: 5 May 2015 Venue: Faber Peak Singapore
In 1915, Shiseido released the first scalp treatment, Flowline Hair Tonic, under the management of Shinzo Fukuhara, the first president of the company, who applied his vast knowledge and experience gained while studying overseas in Europe and the U.S., in Shiseido's research and development.
As today marks the centennial of this release, Shiseido Professional will conduct the promotion of Scalp Care Revolution 2015 to strategically strengthen its scalp care lineup. Backed with years of advanced research and development, new shampoos and conditioners for the men's scalp care line, Adenogen, were introduced in February. For the salon market, Shiseido Professional has planned to release revolutionized salon-use and home-care products to further enhance the Adenovital and Fuente Forte lines under the The Hair Care range.
Held at Faber Peak Singapore, the celebratory lunch highlighted the brand's expertise in scalp care for the last century. At the event, esteemed guests, hairstylists, and members of the media were introduced to many exciting, upcoming launches in Shiseido Professional's scalp care lines. Research Scientist for Shiseido, Ritsuko Ehama, was also invited up on stage to share her insights with the audience, placing emphasis on the advanced technology utilized in the Shiseido Professional The Hair Care Fuente Forte Power Beauty Drop. Based on Shiseido's exclusive skincare technology, The Power Beauty Drop is a revolutionized scalp treatment essence – available in two types for Oily Scalp and Dry Scalp – to create an ideal environment for the growth of healthy, beautiful hair.
