Hairstylists and esteemed guests of Goldwell Singapore gathered at the Goldwell Studio to witness the selection process and announcement of the top five semi-finalists of each category for the annual Color Zoom competition. The panel of judges included Mr. Stefan Niese (Goldwell Regional Head of Education), Mr. Kennith Ching (Founder of NK Hairworks), Ms. Daphne Chen (Artistic Director of Hair Mechanics), Mr. Jeremy Leong (CEO of H4ufme), and Mr. Watson Tan (Director of Upfront Models).

Entries were judged based on each stylist's skills and creativity as well as their dedication to colour perfection, and of course, the looks that best capture this year's Traditional Rebels theme. The hairstylists that participated in this year's Goldwell Color Zoom competed across 2 categories, Creative Colorist and New Talent Colorist, to strive for the opportunity to compete in the international live Color Zoom competition, which will be held in Las Vegas later this year.

After much anticipation, the semi-finalists were announced. For the Creative Colorist category, the top five semifinalists are Alex Neo from The Lawn Hairdressing, Jacky Tan from Starlight, Daryl Cheong from Urban Hair by Ginrich, Shuhei Suzuki from Hair Atelier by Shunji Matsuo, and Christian Goh from Hair 510. As for the New Talent Colorist category, the semi-finalists are Zac Kam from Uno De Salon, Xavier Chin from The Lawn Hairdressing, Alan Gan from Starlight, Sandy Yeo from Evolve Salon, and Noel Ng from BLOC+.
